Q:    I am currently in a contract – do I need to wait until I am near the renewal date to get a quotation for my energy costs

A:    No, definitely not, in fact the sooner you give us your authority to work on your behalf, the sooner we can make sure you do not get ‘rolled over’ in a poor contract.

Q:    What is involved?

A:    We make the process as simple as possible and is hassle free – all we need is a signed Letter of Authority and copies of your energy bills – this just allows us to get all the information we need to provide you with detailed quotations; If you are happy with the costs we provide, with your authorisation we manage the process from there.
The most important thing to do is to give notice to your current supplier, however, if you contact us prior to your contract renewal date we will make sure you do this on time – we will even write the letter for you!

Q:    How much can I save?

A:    On average we currently save our clients over 25% on their energy costs but some we save more and some less. Our aim is to ensure you get the best costs for your needs and we will secure contracts that fit your company.

Q:    How much does your service cost?

A:    We do not charge for our service - we get paid a commission from the energy suppliers, however, we are totally independent and unbiased because we would like you to retain us as your energy consultants, which ensures our future.

Q:    What if I have some debts?

A:    It depends on how your debts came about.
i) If they are because you have not paid your bills on time, then your old supplier may object to your transfer.
ii) If your current supplier caused you to incur the debt, for example by not billing you correctly, you can ask for the debt to be settled over a reasonable period and they cannot object to your transfer.

Q:    Can I leave my contract early?

A:    Generally no, energy contracts are for fixed time periods and need to be honoured.
The most important aspect is to get a contract that fixes your rates for the whole contract period and not just for the first 12 months, it can prove very costly in the long term, without you knowing your future costs.

Q:    What do I need to do?

A:    Simply complete a Letter of Authority – this just gives us the required permission to negotiate prices on you behalf – Email, fax or post this to us together with a copy of a recent gas and electricity bill ………….. that’s it
